A true legend of the business and one of the people who was a giant in the 80’s as I was growing in my career. Al was a visionary in programming and sales and leaves a lasting imprint on the broadcasting landscape. This is a guy who will be TRULY missed !! Absolutely the real deal.

I am surprised there are not more comments about Al. I didn’t know him well but worked with him through Telerep. Al was always a very well dressed man who loved ice cream, beautiful women and show biz. A lot of guys like Dave Allen (Petry) and Gary Scollard (MMT) tried to duplicate his success but never came close to giving as much as Al did to broadcasting. Today we need more broadcasters like Al was.

Very fortunate to have met Mr. Masini at his home in 2009. It is rare that one is placed in the environment of a legend and treated as a respectable guest. My condolences to his wife and sister.
