Frontier, Univision Renew Distribution Deal

The new contract covers all the Spanish-language broadcaster's stations and networks including the Univision Network, UniMás, Galavisión, Univision Deportes Network, El Rey Network, FOROtv, TLNovelas, Telehit, Bandamax, De Pelicula and De Pelicula Clasico.

Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) and Frontier Communications say they have renewed their distribution agreement covering UCI’s full portfolio of stations and networks serving Hispanic America.

Frontier will continue carriage of UCI’s stations and networks across the company’s FiOS and Vantage markets including the Univision Network, UniMás, Galavisión, Univision Deportes Network, El Rey Network, FOROtv, TLNovelas, Telehit, Bandamax, De Pelicula and De Pelicula Clasico.

UCI’s EVP of Content Distribution Eric Ratchman said: “We greatly appreciate the opportunity to extend our partnership with Frontier Communications. The company has long understood the value of the Hispanic viewer and the importance of providing content that attracts and retains customers in the key markets they serve in states ranging from California and Texas to Florida.”
