Live Well Adds 7 Affils, Tops 40% Clearance

New additions from Gannett, Allbritton, Bonten and Great Plains bring the new diginet’s total lineup to 32 stations.

The Live Well Network — the broadcast, online and wireless service for digital TV channels owned by the ABC Owned Television Stations Group — has signed new affiliation agreements with seven stations: Gannett Broadcasting’s KXTV Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto, Calif. (DMA 20); Allbritton Communications’s  KATV Little Rock, Ark. (DMA 56); Bonten Media Group’s WCYB  Kingsport/Tri-Cities, Tenn.-Va. (DMA 91); WCTI New Bern, N.C. (DMA 101); WRCR Chico- Redding, Calif. (DMA 130); and KAEF Eureka, Calif. (DMA 194); and Great Plains TV’s KGPT Wichita, Kan. (DMA 68).

These seven new affiliates extend the Live Well Network’s U.S. television household coverage to more than 40%, reached by a current total of 32 stations. Other stations affiliated with the network are variously owned by ABC, Belo Corp., Lilly Broadcasting, LKK Group, Quincy Newspapers and the Scripps Television Station Group.
