ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz will host On the Radar, a new show in the daily series Power Players from ABC News and Yahoo News starting Friday, Jan. 18.

As host of On the Radar, Raddatz will offer viewers what ABC describes as “an expansive look at the defense, intelligence and foreign affairs worlds through the lens of U.S. policy and national security.”

From the expansion of U.S. drones to the use of chemical weapons in Syria, every episode will feature interviews with insiders and experts on a variety of topics to help viewers gain context and a deeper understanding of the stories and policy debates on her radar.

“We live in an interconnected world where the United States’ relationships across the globe have a direct impact on our lives here at home from both a national security and economic perspective,” Raddatz said.

“I am thrilled that this new digital program will allow me to take a deeper dive into some of the important issues facing our country, from the winding down of the war in Afghanistan and the importance of caring for our veterans, to how the Arab Spring will impact U.S. navigation of conflicts in the Middle East,” she added.
