Station Trading Roundup: 3 Deals, $228,500

The sale of KSPR Springfield, Mo., by Perkin Media to Schurz Communications tops the latest list of TV station transactions submitted to the FCC for its approval, according to BIA Kelsey.

KSPR Springfield, Mo. — PRICE: $200,000 BUYER: Schurz Communications Inc (Todd Schurz, president/CEO) SELLER: Perkin Media LLC (William Perkin, sole member) FACILITIES: DTV Ch. 19, 1000.000 kW, ant. 1,887 ft. AFFILIATION: ABC COMMENT: KY3 is assigning its option to buy Perkin Media LLC’s KSPR for $200,000 to Schurz Communications Inc. and Schurz is exercising that option. Schurz is paying $50K to Perkin Media LLC in consideration of their agreement to this assignment. The applications will specify that they are contingent upon the FCC’s grant of the pending application to assign the license for KYTV to Gray Television.
