Univision In Top 50 ‘Most Innovative Companies’

Univision Communications Inc. has been named as one of World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company in the magazine’s annual ranking. Univision ranked 34 in the top 50 list.

“Univision’s inclusion in Fast Company’s prestigious list speaks to our team’s continued commitment to driving creative innovation in the media industry,” said Joe Uva, Univision president-CEO. “It also speaks to the explosive growth of the U.S. Hispanic population and the tremendous positive impact this demographic group has on the U.S. economy.”

Fast Company’s editorial team evaluated information on thousands of businesses around the globe to create the World’s Most Innovative Companies issue. The end result emphasizes not just revenue growth and profit margins but also progressive business models and an ethos of creativity. Other companies on the list include Apple, Burberry, Facebook, Google and Groupon.
