Unreel Announces Its 80th Roku Channel

Unreel Entertainment’s Unreel.me, a platform for networks and publishers launching OTT streaming services, has joined the ranks of preferred developers on the Roku platform, following the successful launch of its 80th Roku channel.

Unreel has helped expose its channels to millions of users on the Roku platform who have streamed billions of hours. As a developer partner on the Roku platform, Unreel will continue to develop direct publisher channels by offering an end-to-end OTT streaming solution.

Unreel builds intelligent, OTT-branded apps for networks, publishers and content creators. The platform gives publishers full control over their content and provides them with tools to boost viewer engagement and build their community. With Unreel’s plug-and-play streaming services, channel development is made easier, allowing creators to provide even more content on the Roku platform.

“Working with Roku is a strategic decision,” said Unreel CEO Dan Goikhman. “The Roku platform has the right mix of monetization tools and engaged users to help grow Unreel and also deliver excellent content to more and more audiences.”

Unreel was launched in 2015 by advertising and media veterans Dan Goikhman, Krish Arvapally, Ryan James and Akshay Arvapally.
