Wendy Williams will spend August promoting the third season of her talk show this fall with a 17-station tour, during which she will visit with fans and participate in local events.

In an effort to build viewership for the third season of her eponymous talk show, which begins Sept. 12, host Wendy Williams will be touring 17 stations next month to visit with fans and participate in local events.
The “Say It Like You Mean It Summer Tour” gets underway Aug. 4 in Miami and wraps up in Sacramento, Calif., on Sept. 1.
Her stop at WTVT Tampa on Aug. 4 will be typical. Williams will try her hand as a “drummer” on one of the long boats at the 10th Annual World Championship International Dragon Boat Races. She will also throw out the first pitch at a Tampa Bay Rays’ baseball game.
In many markets, Williams will ride into town on a specially designed and decorated bus. Fans of the show recognize some signature items traveling with Williams, including her beloved Wonder Woman mug and Shakeetha the wig head.
