Fox Extends MyNetworkTV Through 2020

Fox Television Stations renews the programming service for two more years. It now is cleared in 181 markets representing over 97% of the country; providing its stations 10 hours of programming Monday through Friday.

Fox Television Stations today extended the MyNetworkTV programming service for an additional two years, through the 2019-20 season, announced Greg Meidel, president of Twentieth Television.

MyNetworkTV airs on the Fox Television Stations in each of the top three markets — New York (WWOR), Los Angeles (KCOP), and Chicago (WPWR). Additional markets include Dallas (KDFI), Washington  (WDCA), Houston (KTXH), Phoenix (KUTP), Minneapolis (WFTC), Orlando (WRBW), and Charlotte, N.C. (WMYT).

For the current 2017-18 season, MyNetworkTV is cleared in 181 markets representing over 97% of the country; providing its stations 10 hours of diverse programming Monday through Friday.

The 2017-18 schedule of MyNetworkTV launched on Sept. 25 and includes the Dick Wolf series Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Chris Carter’s iconic series The X-Files, the endurance reality program American Ninja Warrior and Dateline showcasing a weekly collection of mysteries, documentaries and in-depth investigations.

“10 hours of diverse programming”…It’s ten hours of reheated repeats. Many affiliates have thrown it in late night and don’t brand with it. Just kill the branding and keep the shows, Fox.
