WTTG-WDCA Break Ground On New Building

In addition to housing the Fox-MNT combo, the new building will be home to a 23-story office tower and will contain retail and residential space. GM Patrick Paolini (above) hosted the ceremonies.

Fox’s Washington duopoly of WTTG (Fox) and WDCA (MNT) broke ground on its future home in suburban Bethesda, Md.

In addition to housing the station, the new building will be home to a 23-story office tower and will contain retail and residential space.

On hand for the ceremony was WTTG VP-GM Patrick Paolini, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and representatives of  Carr Properties and Clark Construction Group.

The project will also be located on the future home of Metro’s Bethesda Purple Line station.

It’s smart to see local broadcasters getting into business outside of their core business because that’s a dead end street..Being a landlord is a good business
