DMA 2: LOS ANGELES

Christine Keller New KCBS-KCAL Controller

Veteran local broadcast finance executive Christine Keller has been named financial controller at KCBS (CBS) and KCAL (independent), the CBS-owned stations in Los Angeles. She is succeeding Justin Draper, who recently was named VP-GM of CBS Television Stations’ Sacramento, Calif., properties.

This appointment represents a homecoming for Keller, who previously was the stations’ director of finance and accounting from 2010 to 2015.

Keller, who has a total of 25 years of experience with CBS, most recently served as the market controller for the company’s cluster of six Los Angeles radio stations prior to CBS Radio’s 2017 merger with a subsidiary of Entercom Communications.

Prior to first joining KCBS-KCAL, Keller spent 10 years with the CBS Television Stations’ Boston and Providence stations. Before that, she was a senior financial analyst, then a manager of accounting in the CBS Television Stations’ headquarters office from 1996 to 2000. She spent the first four years of her CBS career with the company’s corporate audit department.

Keller graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in commerce.
