Fielder, Brissette Buy Network Affils

The purchases by Bill Fielder and Stephen Brissette of two stations in Casper, Wyo., and a double affil in Cheyenne, Wyo., come from three different investor groups, managed by one of the principals, Mark Nalbone.

Veteran broadcasters Bill Fielder and Stephen Brissette have acquired two stations in Casper, Wyo. (DMA 199) — KFNB (Fox) and KTWO (ABC) — and one in Cheyenne, Wyo. (DMA 196) — KLWY (Fox-ABC), according to Kalil & Co., which brokered the deal.

Terms were not disclosed.

The deal also includes related satellite and low-power stations.

Fielder, who lives in Atlanta, is the sole owner of Coastal Television and former CFO of Gray Television.

Brissette is the principal in Vision Alaska, which owns KYUR Anchorage, KJUD Juneau and KATN Fairbanks.

Coastal Television operates KJUD and KATN under a time brokerage agreement. They will both be transitioned to Coastal Television’s ownership concurrent with the completion of the Wyoming station purchases.
