PPI Releasing And Inverleigh Roll Out ‘Tokyo Games’ Specials

PPI Releasing is offering Tokyo Games syndicated specials. The specials cover top American competitors in the Games and are produced by PPI’s Syndie Sports Net (SSN) partner, Inverleigh. The programs are offered on a barter basis with a wide scheduling window (July 5- Aug. 11) and options for half-hour or one-hour formats. The PPI package also includes — free to stations — a package of 20 30-second vignettes designed for sponsor integration.  Stations and networks covering nearly 75% of US TV households have already committed to the programming.

PPI principal, Ritch Colbert, sees this late-breaking package as a nimble response to a rapidly expanding economy. “With a huge amount of post-COVID economic activity now emerging, several stations asked us to help generate more local sponsorship options,” he said. “It doesn’t get better than this: the world’s finest athletes in a once-in-four-years event, in action-packed programs with a free package of glossy 30-second vignettes and high utility and flexibility for stations.”

PPI has more information at its Guide to the Games website, and on social media via Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin  and Twitter.

Anchored by stations from the Fox O&Os, Nexstar, Sinclair, Tegna, Cox, Quincy and Heartland groups, The Syndie Sports Network, or SSN, features the important names and games in all of sports. The SSN weekly half-hour series — The Immortals, The Shortlist and Pure Outdoor — put viewers in the center of the action and expand sports rotations and sponsorship packages for stations. SSN is produced by Inverleigh, a premium sports content production and media distribution agency, servicing more than 500 broadcast clients globally with a library of more than 1,000 hours of sports content.
