SWR Germany Choses Wolftech

Südwestrundfunk (SWR), Germany’s second-largest public broadcaster with offices in Stuttgart, Baden-Baden and Mainz, has chosen Wolftech News as its future production planning tool.

SWR joins BBC, RTL, VRT, TV2 Norway and Vice Media as the latest major broadcaster to adopt Wolftech’s cloud-based multi-platform planning and publishing tool. Every day more than 20,000 users are using Wolftech to plan, produce and publish content, the company says.

Arne Berven, Wolftech CEO, said of the integration of Wolftech’s tool with SWR’s complex existing systems: “SWR went out to the market with specifications seeking the best planning system for its multimedia content on all platforms. Looking for a tool with the greatest fit, Wolftech was ultimately chosen as the right solution. In order to deliver an all-in-one tool alongside our partner Thum+Mahr, we will develop custom-fit pieces to deliver the optimal solution for their users. The project is the beginning of a relationship between Wolftech, its valued technical integration partner Thum+Mahr and SWR. “We are proud to have won this forward-thinking project at SWR.
