Blustream Offers Two New Dante-Enabled Multi-I/O Wall Plates

To provide easy collaboration within Dante audio systems, AV distribution provider Blustream has introduced two new multi-input/output Dante conversion wall switches. The DA11ABL-WP is a multi-input/output wall plate to convert Bluetooth and analog audio within a digital Dante networked audio system. The DA22XLR-WP converts analog audio, with two input channels of balanced/unbalanced MIC audio with switchable 48V phantom power and two output channels of balanced and unbalanced audio. Blustream says “each represents a significant convenience for BYOD users in commercial spaces using Dante networked audio.”

“Enabling analog and Bluetooth audio to be distributed within a Dante networked audio system elevates collaboration space opportunities for integrators and their clients,” said Martyn Shirley, Blustream general manager. “These two wall plates are the ideal BYOD interfaces to a Dante audio system, whether your audio source is wired or wireless.”

Expanding Blustream’s range of Dante solutions, the DA11ABL-WP and DA22XLR-WP wall plates are designed to add increased functionality and flexibility for networked audio installations. These new solutions deliver advanced Dante conversion and distribution of Bluetooth/analog audio (DA11ABL-WP) and XLR/microphone audio signals (DA22XLR-WP).

Plug-and-play devices, they are powered using PoE, or via 12V power supply and offer support for AES67 RTP audio transport. The magnetic faceplate design allows for both U.K. and EU backbox compatibility.
