Game Shows Reign Supreme In Syndication

There was a slight reshuffle at the top of the syndication chart for the week ending Feb. 26.

Jeopardy hung onto first place despite dipping 5% to a 5.5 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen household rating, while Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune flipped-flopped. Feud took second place with a 2% increase to 5.3, and Wheel did the mirror image with a 2% breather to a third-place 5.2.

Judge Judy held onto fourth place overall and led the courts despite a 5% dip to a 4.1.

Among chat fests, Live with Kelly and Ryan continued to rule with an unchanged first-place 1.6.

The soon-to-cease production Dr. Phil took with a 1.2, also unchanged.

There followed Kelly Clarkson at a 0.9, down 10%; and Drew Barrymore at 0.8, which fell 11% to land in a tie with the unchanged Tamron Hall (0.8).

Warner Bros. newcomer Jennifer Hudson remained at a 0.6, while Sherri was steady at a 0.8.

Following Judge Judy, Hot Bench at a 1.2, and People’s Court at a 0.7, rounded out the top three gavelers.

Competitive magazines were led by Inside Edition (2.2) and Entertainment Tonight (2.0).

The top three off-net sitcoms were Warner Bros.’ Big Bang Theory (2.1), followed by Last Man Standing (1.1) and Modern Family (0.8).
