WVTM Birmingham Sets New Weekend Anchor Lineup

Hearst-owned NBC affiliate WVTM Birmingham, Ala., has a new weekend evening anchor team: Jarvis Robertson and Gladys Bautista. They are co-anchoring the Saturday 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts as well as the Sunday 5 and 10 p.m. broadcasts on WVTM 13 beginning Sunday, March 19.

A Birmingham native, Robertson has been with WVTM since September 2022 and has served as a co-anchor on WVTM 13 Sunday Morning. In addition to his anchor duties on the weekends, viewers will see Jarvis contribute to newscasts throughout the week as a reporter. Robertson is a University of Alabama at Birmingham graduate.

Gladys Bautista joined WVTM in February as a reporter and was most recently employed by Hearst’s WLKY Louisville, Ky. She Bautista is a graduate of Georgia State University.
