- Zoe Shriner from Gray Television’s Dakota News Now as assignment desk editor and digital producer.
- Photographers Ken Price from WDAF Kansas City and Matt Story, a freelancer from West Palm Beach, Fla.
- Gurpreet Singh joins as an editor from an Overland Park marketing agency.
- Joe McLean, a bureau reporter out of Jefferson City, will provide stories from the Missouri State Capitol.
Curtis Miles, president-GM, said: “In a world where so many newsrooms are being forced to cut their staffing, we’re grateful that Gray Television is giving us the opportunity to grow exponentially.”
Josh Morgan, news director, added: “There is nothing more important to a local newsroom than the ability to tell local stories that matter. The addition of these team members brings us closer to that goal. We can’t wait to see the difference they make for us.”
KCTV said it is still seeking talented and qualified individuals to fill several more newsroom positions.
