Rentrak Adds Traverse City, Mich., Duopoly

Rentrak Corp., a provider of multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced a multi-year StationView Essentials contract with Barrington Broadcasting for its WPBN (NBC) and WGTU (ABC) in Traverse City, Mich. (DMA 117).

Barrington will introduce Rentrak ratings to its diary market stations in order to demonstrate geographic strengths for each station in a market by having ratings and viewing information on every program and newscast every day of the week.

Their massive database of passively monitored viewing representing every ZIP code in each of our markets will provide our stations with a competitive sales and programming advantage,” said Chris Cornelius, Barrington president-COO.

Rentrak’s StationView Essentials service provides uniform measurement 365 days a year across every ZIP code in all 210 markets in the United States.
