Flewelling Heads Sales At CBS’s Dallas Duo

The local sales manager of KTVT, Matt Flewelling, is promoted to director of sales for the CBS O&O as well as co-owned KTXA, succeeding Adam Levy.

Matt Flewelling has been promoted to VP-director of sales for CBS-owned KTVT (CBS) and KTXA (independent), effective immediately. Flewelling succeeds Adam Levy, who was named VP-GM of CBS Television Stations’ Miami properties, WFOR and WBFS, earlier this month.

“Matt has more than 15 years’ experience with us when you combine his tenure at KTVT and CBS Spot Sales’ Dallas office,” said the stations’ President-GM Gary Schneider. “He is respected by our sales teams, our clients and his peers, and we’re pleased to have someone of his caliber available to step immediately into this role.”

Flewelling has been KTVT’s local sales manager since November 2002. Prior to that, he was KTVT national sales manager, and before that, a CBS Spot Sales account executive.

Flewelling holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
