Syndie ‘Storm Stories’ Returns For Fall 2011

Litton Entertainment has acquired 52 new original episodes of Storm Stories, now entering its fourth year of syndication chronicling true stories of survivors and rescuers battling amazing weather events. The new episodes, all in HD, will be available in syndication to stations in fall 2011.

According to Litton, new content includes “Boy Scouts Tornado,” stories of bravery and determination when a fierce tornado strikes a ranch during a campout, and “Lost Family,” a dramatic tale of snowstorm survival when a plane goes down in Yosemite National Park.

Other episodes include “Erin and the Drainpipe,” a story of a man sucked into a drain during a tropical storm who lives to tell about the fight of his life; “Iniki Jurassic,” in which fantasy and reality collide as a powerful hurricane threatens Steven Spielberg and crew on location in the Hawaiian Islands; “Florida Fog” in which deadly smoke and fog cause a 70-car pileup with emergency responders becoming victims; and the story of a  heroic nine-year-old boy who helped rescue his mother during a freak electrical storm in “Lightning Mom.”
