Free New Year’s Eve Feeds From Times Square

The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment are once again offering free HD and SD satellite feeds of the New Year’s Eve Celebration in Times Square, New York.

The clean, uninterrupted feeds are available free of charge to domestic and international television outlets, mobile phone TV providers, IPTV, vlogs and user generated content sites. Multi-platform recording artist Taio Cruz’s live rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine” just before the ball drop at midnight will also be featured on the feed.

In addition to the satellite feed, the event organizers have partnered with Livestream once again to offer an international, six-and-a-half hour webcast of the event. Three co-hosts will cover all of the action in Times Square, including the hourly countdowns, ball raising ceremony, stage performances and special guests (including Cruz’s live Imagine performance).

Additionally, a free, non-commercial widget will be offered of varying sizes for bloggers, webmasters and digital media outlets to embed in their own sites featuring the Livestream video player and related social media tools. Additional information on the widget is available by clicking here.
