Weekend ‘America Now’ Expanding To Daily

The syndicated weekend series from Raycom Media and ITV Studios America is expanding to a daily strip distributed by Debmar-Mercury.

Raycom Media and ITV Studios America’s syndicated weekend lifestyle series America Now will be expanding, as Debmar-Mercury has been signed to distribute the series in association with Bill Marcus’ 30 Steps distribution company as a daily syndicated strip for this fall, it was announced today at the NATPE conference.

“We are delighted with America Now’s consistent growth and performance and we are fortunate that we have Debmar-Mercury as our distribution partner to secure top flight clearances, which will make this a top new strip series for Fall 2011,” by Paul McTear, president-CEO of Raycom Media, said.

Hosted by Bill Rancic and produced by ITV Studios America, the lifestyle newsmagazine show with local appeal uses the news resources of affiliates across the country.

Currently airing on 43 stations in all 36 Raycom Media markets representing 12.6% of the country, America Now’s station roster includes WOIO Cleveland; WBTV Charlotte, N.C.; WXIX Cincinnati; WMC Memphis; and WAVE Louisville, Ky.
