Univision App Now Available On The App Store

Univision Interactive Media, the digital division of Univision Communications has launched the Univision App for iPhone and iPod touch, available now on the App Store.

The Univision App includes video clips, photos and articles of the latest national and local news as well as celebrity gossip. The app features special events and popular Univision shows, such as Despierta America (Wake Up America), El Gordo y la Flaca (The Scoop and the Skinny), Republica Deportiva (Sports Nation), Noticiero Univision (Univision News), Nuestra Belleza Latina (Our Latin Beauty) and updates from sports such as soccer and boxing. The app allows users to follow their favorite stories, receive personalized local updates and give them content that is most important to them.

Additional features of the new Univision App allow for both personal customization as well as social interaction. Users can program their app based on location to access local city news, happenings and weather information. Other popular features include personal horoscopes of the day and breaking news alerts. Univision App users can sync their social channels to share articles, photos and videos via email and SMS as well as post to Twitter and Facebook.
