Hogan Resigns As Colorado Ass’n President

The Colorado Broadcasters Association is seeking a new president following the resignation of Marilyn Hogan after an 11-year run. "The board is extremely proud of Marilyn’s performance,” the board says in an e-mail to members. “Under her leadership and due to her hard work, the CBA is bigger, stronger, better focused and more relevant today than ever before.”

Marilyn Hogan has tendered her resignation as president of the Colorado Broadcasters Association, effectively immediately, the CBA board announced today in an e-mail to its membership.

“The board is extremely proud of Marilyn’s performance over the past 11 years,” the e-mail says. “Under her leadership and due to her hard work, the CBA is bigger, stronger, better focused and more relevant today than ever before.”

The e-mail gives no reason for the resignation. TVNewsCheck was not able to reach her immediately for comment.

In listing Hogan’s contributions, the board cites CBA’s expanded programs, improved communications, stronger lobbying in Colorado and Washington, popular CBA awards and the increased reach of PSAs.

“We congratulate her on her accomplishments and wish her the very best in her new endeavors,” the board says.

The CBA executive committee is already seeking Hogan’s replacement, and is inviting inquiries and applications be sent to Colorado Broadcasters Association, P.O. Box 2369, Breckenridge, CO 80424.
