Dominianni, Tillotson New Anchor Team At WWMT

Freedom Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate WWMT Grand Rapids, Mich. (DMA 41), has named Andy Dominianni and Kate Tillotson as its new evening news anchors.

Dominianni is returning to WWMT — he was a morning anchor from 1996 to 1999. His first day back 3 will be June 27. He has 19 years of anchoring experience. Most recently, he was an anchor at WSYX Columbus Ohio. He has also held anchor positions at WCCB Charlotte, N.C., and WCCO Minneapolis.

Tillotson will be moving from anchoring the morning news to the evening news. She has already been filling in the evenings and will replace Judy Markee who retired in May. Tillotson started at WWMT in 2006 as a reporter and moved up into the morning anchor position in 2009.
