Laila Ali To Co-Host New ABC Tweens Series

Laila Ali, the daughter of Muhammed Ali and a former professional boxer, will co-host Everyday Health, one of the six half-hour shows that Litton Entertainment will be supplying ABC this fall to meet the FCC educational children’s programming requirement of the ABC O&Os and affiliates, Litton announced this morning. The block of programming is aimed at teens between 12 and 16.

Ali’s co-hosts are Ethan Zohn, a former professional soccer player and humanitarian, and Jenna Morasca, champion of Survivor: The Amazon.

The Litton package will premiere Saturday, Sept. 3, in most markets following Good Morning America.

“Laila, Ethan, and Jenna are champions for healthy lifestyles and for those like Claire Wineland who refuse to allow an illness or medical set-back keep them down,” said Dave Morgan, CEO of Litton Entertainment. “Their leadership on the Everyday Health team will inspire all of us to make a difference and celebrate the power of one person’s courage and determination.”
