WFOR Ups Liz Roldan To News Director

CBS O&O SFOR Miami (DMA 16), today named Liz Roldan news director. Roldan, who rejoined the station in August as executive producer, special projects and investigations, has been serving as interim news director for the past month. Her new position is effective immediately.

An Emmy Award-winning journalist, Roldan brings extensive South Florida experience to her new position. Prior to her return to WFOR, she was managing editor of WTVJ Miami from 2000 to 2008. Previously, she served in the roles of the station’s special projects producer and assignment manager. Earlier, she was assignment manager for WFOR from the early to mid 1990s.
