KTVK’s Yetta Gibson Joins Evening News Team

Belo Corp’s independent KTVK Phoenix (DMA 13) has added anchor/reporter Yetta Gibson to the station’s evening news team. Gibson, who currently is a reporter and field anchor for the station’s Good Morning Arizona, will anchor 3TV News at 10 p.m. and co-anchor the 6 p.m. newscast effective June 4.

The hour-long 3TV News at 9 p.m. will now be co-anchored by Carey Pena and Fields Moseley. Moseley will co-anchor the 3TV News at 6 p.m. with Gibson, while Pena adds co-anchoring of the weekly Politics Unplugged to her duties. All three of the evening anchors will continue to report on a regular basis, including more in-depth “Extra” reports that usually air in the 9 p.m. primetime newscast.

Patti Kirkpatrick will continue to anchor the three newscasts at 4:30, 5 and 5:30 p.m
