NBA Timberwolves And WFTC Renew TV Deal

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Fox-owned MNT affiliate WFTC Minneapolis-St. Paul (DMA 15) announced the two parties have reached an agreement to renew their television partnership for the upcoming 2012-13 NBA season. The Wolves’ over-the-air television schedule with WFTC may include as many as 25 regular-season games, all of which will be available in HD. The specific games to be broadcast will be announced at a later date.

This will mark the second time WFTC has broadcast Timberwolves games, having aired 12 games during the 2010-11 season. The partnership between the Wolves and WFTC is part of an integrated marketing relationship that will include ticket promotions, in-arena promotions, community involvement and other promotional elements. In addition to WFTC, Fox Sports Net North will televise 50 Wolves games during the 2012-13 season.
