TVNewsCheck To Launch Quarterly Mag

The tabloid-size Executive Outlook will feature a deeper level of reporting and analysis than is found elsewhere in the trade press and is designed to offer broadcast TV owners and managers insights into how key issues are affecting the long-term direction of their industry.

TVNewsCheck will launch Executive Outlook, a new high-end print quarterly, in September.

The tabloid-size magazine will feature a deeper level of reporting and analysis than is found elsewhere in the trade press and is designed to offer broadcast TV owners and managers insight into how key issues are affecting the long-term direction of their industry.

“The broadcast television industry faces an array of challenges affecting the entire spectrum of management, from finance, programming, news and technology to sales, marketing and regulation,” said Harry A. Jessell, TVNewsCheck’s founder and editor. “Executive Outlook will dive deep into the biggest of these issues and offer readers a view over the horizon.”

Executive Outlook will be mailed first-class to senior executives and managers at the broadcast TV networks and station groups and to TV station general managers, news directors, chief engineers and sales managers.

Its first issue will be published during the critically important fall budgeting season, with delivery set for Monday, Sept. 10. The Winter issue, devoted to programming issues, will be published for delivery Jan. 14; the Spring issue, devoted to technology and management issues, will publish April 1, 2013, and the Summer issue, set for July 29, 2013, will be a forum for the industry’s best ideas for the future.

Executive Outlook will be a must-read for anyone in senior and middle management in broadcast television,” said Kathy Haley, TVNewsCheck co-founder and publisher. “It offers advertisers an extraordinary opportunity not just to showcase their most important products and services, but also to brand their companies as long-term partners to TV broadcasters.”
