Ardaban Selling New Series ‘Treasure House’

Ardaban, the recently formed Shine America label, is teaming with Leftfield Pictures for the upcoming reality competition series Treasure House, it was announced today at MIPCOM by Ardaban CEO Chachi Senior and Leftfield Pictures Owner and Founder Brent Montgomery.

Treasure House, an Ardaban original format, is now being sold to the U.S. and international TV marketplaces. Both Senior and Montgomery are serving as executive producers.

Leftfield Pictures, known for such series as Pawn Stars, American Restoration and Counting Cars, will oversee day-to-day production on Treasure House.

Initially launched last spring, Ardaban is a dedicated entertainment format production company whose output is produced in conjunction with Shine America and distributed globally via Shine International. Ardaban is led by Senior, who formerly was co-president at IAC’s Notional. Ardaban recently named Dave Noll as chief creative officer and Cleve Keller as chief development officer.

Treasure House is a reality competition series that uncovers hidden treasures in everyday homes. In every episode, three highly-regarded appraisers each select a family that believes it has found valuable items in their home. After choosing a family, the appraisers put each of the home’s apparent treasures up for auction. The household with the highest bids at auction takes home an additional $50,000.
