WMAR Slots 14th Annual Kindertime Toy Drive

E.W. Scripps-owned ABC affiliate WMAR Baltimore (DMA 27) is teaming up again with Celebree Learning Centers, Next Day Floors and Honeygo Village Center for the 14th Annual ABC2 Kindertime Toy Drive.

The toys collected in this year’s drive will be distributed to Maryland families in need and to the children of fallen firefighters and police officers. The drive has helped distribute more than 400,000 toys during its long history.

Starting Friday, Nov. 23, viewers can bring new, unwrapped toy to one of the many donation locations. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, Dec. 19, at WMAR and until Tuesday, Dec. 18, at all the other locations (a complete list is available here.)

The big distribution day will be Thursday, Dec. 20, between 3 and 6 p.m. at the WMAR studios at 6400 York Road, as a caravan of emergency vehicles will leave the television station with sirens blaring, lights flashing and toys in tow.
