PTV Group Adds National Sponsorship Director

The Sponsorship Group for Public Television (SGPTV), the leading sales organization for PBS programming, has named Brian Granath the organization’s national sponsorship director. Granath will be joining SGPTV’s New York office.

Granath is a seasoned television sales professional with many years of experience developing national sales revenue. He has worked with a broad range of advertising agencies and corporate marketers to create successful campaigns in broadcast, digital, print and new media properties.

Most recently, Granath was the director of national sales and sponsorship at WNET New York where he grew existing national corporate sponsorship revenue and managed corporate sponsorship initiatives. Prior to that, he spent nearly 22 years at the A&E Television Networks serving in new business and sales positions.

“Brian brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his position at SGPTV,” said Suzanne Zellner, SGPTV/WGBH VP of corporate sponsorship. “His expertise will allow us to continue generating new business, as the portfolio of PBS programming that SGPTV offers for sponsorship continues to grow.”

Granath is a graduate of the University of Vermont, Burlington.
