KTXD Dallas Launches New Local Program

In partnership with D Magazine, London Broadcasting’s KTXD Dallas (DMA 5) will launch D: The Broadcast on Monday, Feb. 18, at 9 a.m. followed by the debut of D Living at 10 a.m.

D: The Broadcast is a personality-driven show focusing on topics designed to inform and entertain. Hosted by Courtney Kerr, Lisa Pineiro, Suzie Humphreys and Pat Smith, the show will cover issues ranging from beauty, parenting or relationships to gun control. The women of D: The Broadcast will share their own insights and opinions on daily topics and invite viewers to do the same via a social media forum.

“We are very excited about our new relationship with D Magazine, and the addition of D: The Broadcast and D-Living only extends our commitment to be a truly local television station in the Dallas-Fort Worth market,” said Phil Hurley, COO of London Broadcasting.

D Living, hosted by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Hilary Kennedy, focuses on home, lifestyle and local entertainment, including do-it-yourself projects to makeovers for life and home.

“We want D: The Broadcast and D Living to resonate with North Texas women in a way that no other local programs do,” says Executive Producer Stuart Boslow. “Our goal is to stay current and informative, but do it in a way that is unique to the D Magazine brand.”
