Neal Kendall Named ‘Arsenio Hall’ EP

The long-time producer is chosen by CBS Television Distribution for its syndicated latenight talk show that debuts in September.

Neal Kendall was named executive producer of the syndicated latenight talk show, The Arsenio Hall Show, it was announced Thursday by Maureen FitzPatrick, EVP of programming and development at CBS Television Distribution. The Arsenio Hall Show debuts on Sept. 9.

Kendall comes to the show with a history in producing latenight television and talk shows, including PBS’s Tavis Smiley, NBC’s Later, CBS’s The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder and CNN’s Larry King Live.

Most recently, he served a 10-year stint as executive producer of Tavis Smiley, overseeing more than 1,900 episodes and winning four NAACP Image Awards. In addition, Kendall has produced talk shows with Carrie Fisher for Oxygen Media, with Jesse Ventura for MSNBC and with Kevin Nealon for TNN/Spike. He also was executive producer of the Comedy Central pilot, Nightcap with Paul F. Tompkins. He began his career at NBC.

The Arsenio Hall Show is produced by Eye Productions Inc. and distributed by CBS Television Distribution, in association with Arsenio Hall Communications Ltd. and Octagon Entertainment Productions.
