LIN Makes Its Second Digital Buy In A Week

Following on its April 4 investment in digital agency HYFN, it is buying a majority interest in Los Angeles-headquartered ad buying/optimization firm Dedicated Media.

LIN TV Corp. today announced that it acquired a majority of Dedicated Media, a multichannel ad buying and optimization firm.

LIN said the acquisition adds depth to its suite of digital marketing solutions and “maximizes the effectiveness of advertising campaigns by further advancing its performance-based technology, data targeting and detailed reporting and analytics.”

The announcement comes on the heels of LIN’s purchase last Thursday of a majority interest in HYFN, a full-service digital agency that develops and implements mobile, social and Web.

Vincent L. Sadusky, president-CEO of LIN Media, said in a statement: “This is another strategic acquisition that we have made to deepen and differentiate our digital marketing portfolio and provide best-in-class advertising solutions to our clients.”
