WMOR Tampa To Air Two Buccaneers Games

Hearst Television-owned independent WMOR Tampa, Fla. (DMA 14), announced today that it has secured local broadcast rights to air NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, Oct. 24, and the Monday Night Football contest between the Bucs and the Miami Dolphins on Monday, Nov. 11.

The Buccaneer-Dolphin game is part of a multi-game deal with ESPN, and is also part of a group deal with Hearst Television.

“We consider both the NFL Network game and the ESPN Monday Night Football agreement as major achievements for our station” said MOR President-GM Ken Lucas. “We are very pleased to telecast the two Buccaneer games in primetime on MOR.”

WMOR can be seen over the air on ch. 32.1, and on cable on Brighthouse ch. 12/HD 1012, Verizon-Fios ch. 12/HD 512 and Comcast ch. 12/HD 437.
