‘In Depth With Graham Bensinger’ Sets Syndie Sales

The weekend sports-talk show In Depth with Graham Bensinger kicks off its fourth season this fall for the first time on broadcast syndication in addition to regional sports networks. It has been cleared in broadcast syndication in 47% of TV homes, including on stations in nine of the top-10 DMAs, including Fox Television Station’s WNYW-WWOR New York, ABC O&O KABC Los Angeles and NBCUniversal’s WMAQ Chicago.

The half-hour show is being independently distributed by Bensinger. He said: “I am thrilled In Depth has expanded to an over-the-air syndicated network and look forward to continuing relationships with Yahoo! Sports and regional sports networks.”

In Depth’s syndication deals bring its reach up to 81% of U.S. TV homes.

On the show, Bensinger conducts one-on-one interviews with athletes. Past chats have included Kobe Bryant, Shaun White, Tony Hawk and Mike Tyson. The new season begins with Bensinger interviewing former NFL player Terrell Owens.

“We think his show will be a great addition to our Sunday late fringe lineup,” said Tom Ehlmann, president-GM of NBC-owned KXAS Dallas, in a statement.
