Anchondo Named KDFW Weekend Morning Anchor

Jenny Anchondo is the new weekend morning news anchor and “Good Day” reporter at KDFW Dallas.

Robin Whitmeyer, the station’s VP and news director, says Anchondo will begin her new gig Oct. 21, anchoring “Good Day Saturday” and “Good Day Sunday.”

“Jenny is a valuable addition to our station,” Whitmeyer said in a statement. “Her experience in breaking news, enterprise reporting, specifically investigative consumer stories, will provide further versatility to our team and enhance our news product.”

Anchondo is a graduate of the University of Idaho, where she earned a bachelor of science in journalism and mass communications.
