‘Queen Latifah’ Has Big Plans For November

Among the stars set to visit in November are Lenny Kravitz, Johnny Knoxville, Vince Vaughn, Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo, LL Cool J, Ray Romano and Carol Burnett.

In November, The Queen Latifah Show will feature celebrity guests as well as comedy, inspirational stories, “heartwarming” homecomings and exclusive musical performances. Also among the highlights of the month are special episodes including; “A Halloween Fit for A Queen,” “The Ultimate Day of Thanks” as well as reunions for military families, “Moms Who Rock” and a week that celebrates “Fearless Living.”

“November on The Queen Latifah Show will be full of great entertainment and awe-inspiring surprises,” says Executive Producer Corin Nelson. “We are filling every show with all the fun and memorable moments our viewers have come to expect mixed with the heart and homecoming of the holidays.”

The festivities kick-off Oct. 31 with “A Halloween Fit for A Queen.” On the ultimate “Throwback Thursday,” Nov. 7, the show rewinds to 1988, the year that Dana Owens — soon to be Queen Latifah — graduated from high school. All month long, every Thursday will feature some of the hottest musical acts from the 1980s playing the songs that are the soundtrack of a generation.

Monday, Nov. 11, will mark a particularly poignant moment for Queen Latifah when she is joined by one of her long-time entertainment idols — a woman who had a huge influence on her childhood and her career — the legendary Carol Burnett.  These two ladies have some surprises in store for the audience including a once-in-a-lifetime duet.

During the week of Nov. 18, Queen and some women will push their limits and journey out of their comfort zones as they conquer white-knuckle challenges and discover inner strength on the path to embracing “Fearless Living.”

Then on Nov. 25, Queen will give thanks and give back with “The Ultimate Day of Thanks,” an episode dedicated to inspiring individuals who are true game-changers. Over the rest of that week, Queen and her team of experts will give tips on how to prepare the perfect Thanksgiving celebration and successfully navigate the chaos of Black Friday.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Throughout November, Queen will also welcome many of Hollywood’s biggest film, television and music stars, including its designer Lenny Kravitz.  Other guests include LL Cool J, Kerry Washington, Johnny Knoxville, Vince Vaughn, Ray Romano, Ellen Pompeo, Will Arnett, Taye Diggs, Whoopi Goldberg and musical guests Janelle Monae, James Blunt, Gavin DeGraw, Jewel, Daughtry and more.

In addition to the celebrity guests, Queen will also shine a spotlight on heroes from our military, our schools and our communities as she and her viewers give thanks for their service.

And in a daytime television exclusive, the million-dollar winner of the 46th Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest will sit down for their first national television interview on The Queen Latifah Show on Thursday, Nov. 14.
