Paul Ballinger Named WBNS Sales Director

Dispatch Broadcasting-owned CBS affiliate WBNS Columbus, Ohio (DMA 32), on Tuesday promoted Paul Ballinger from local sales manager to the new position of director of sales.

Paul is a great motivator, a proven leader and is highly respected by the sales team and his peers at 10TV,” said WBNS President-GM John Cardenas. “His leadership and knowledge of sales and the market make him the natural choice to lead our team.”

Now in his 27th year with the Dispatch Broadcast companies, Ballinger began his career as an account executive at WBNS-AM-FM in 1986. After promotions to local sales manager, and then general sales manager, Ballinger eventually made the transition to WBNS television in September of 2000.

He was promoted to his current position, local sales manager, in 2006.

Ballinger is a 1984 graduate of The Ohio State University.
