Dominic Mancuso Named GM Of WOIO-WUAB

The former Nashville station exec takes the helm of Raycom’s Cleveland duopoly, its largest broadcast operation, succeeding the retiring Bill Applegate.

Dominic Mancuso will be joining Raycom Media as VP and general manager of its WOIO (CBS) and WUAB (MNT) Cleveland (DMA 19). His start date is May 20. He succeeds the retiring Bill Applegate.

Mancuso comes to Raycom Media from Sinclair Broadcasting where for the last four years he has been GM of WZTV (Fox), WUXP (MNT) and WNAB (CW) in Nashville.

Prior to Nashville, Mancuso was VP of programming and promotions at WFLD-WPWR Chicago. Before that, he held the positions of account executive, national sales manager, local sales manager, director of sales, and station manager for Tribune Broadcasting’s WGN Chicago.

Mancuso is a graduate of The University Of Notre Dame, with a degree in marketing and an MBA from Northwestern University in Marketing and Finance. He is the current chairman of the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters and past chair of the Illinois Broadcast Association.
