Former MTV Exec Gray Joins Yangaroo

Yangaroo Inc., a digital media management and distribution company, has hired Emilienne Gray, former SVP of music and talent programming and strategy at MTV and VH1, as special consultant and broadcast adviser.

She will be responsible for establishing relationships with new broadcasters in North America and Europe, and expanding Yangaroo’s relationships with current broadcasters, record labels and artists.

Gray is the founder and president of Vision-Intellect, a boutique media and entertainment consulting and coaching firm. Prior to her career as a television and entertainment industry executive, she toured the world as a performing artist/singer and ran her own independent record label. Her tenure at Viacom/MTV Networks started 1995 with the launch of VH1 Germany in Hamburg, and quickly progressed to head of music programming for MTV Central Europe.

Last fall, Gray stepped down from MTV and VH1 after 18 years, in various senior positions in the USA and internationally.
