‘Let’s Ask America’ Clearances Top 33%

The Scripps game show adds non-Scripps stations prior to its third season launch in September. Coverage rises to 70% with a new cable run on GSN factored in.

The syndicated game show Let’s Ask America from station group E.W. Scripps will be cleared in over 33% of U.S. TV homes when it kicks off its third season on Sept. 8, up from 11% on mostly Scripps stations this season. It’s cleared this fall in 33% of homes on non-Scripps stations and 11% on Scripps stations, with some overlap.

Its new cable run on GSN bumps up its clearance to 70% of TV homes.

Stations picking up the show this fall include Weigel Broadcasting’s independent WCUU Chicago and London Broadcasting’s independent KTXD Dallas.

Let’s Ask America, a trivia game show with contestants appearing via video from their homes, is distributed by MGM Domestic Television Distribution. Warner Bros. handles international distribution.

Last week, comedian Bill Bellamy was named the show’s new host. He replaces Kevin Pereira who hosted Let’s Ask America its first two seasons.
