‘ET,’ ‘The Insider’ Name New Anchors

Kevin Frazier replaces Rob Marciano on Entertainment Tonight, while Frazier is succeeded at The Insider by Louis Aguirre of WSVN Miami.

Entertainment Tonight will begin its 34th season on Sept. 9 with a new co-anchor, The Insider’s Kevin Frazier. He will co-anchor the show with Nancy O’Dell. In 2011, Frazier left ET as its weekend anchor and reporter to join The Insider.

His replacement on The Insider is Sunbeam’s Fox affiliate WSVN Miami’s entertainment reporter Louis Aguirre.

Both shows are distributed by CBS Television Distribution and produced by Brad Bessey. Bessey and Linda Fuller are executive producers of ET. Bessey and Monique Chenault are executive producers of The Insider.

Frazier will replace Rob Marciano who is leaving ET. Prior to his first stint on ET, Frazier hosted ESPN’s Sportscenter, NBA Shoot Around and NBA Fastbreak.

“Kevin lives and breathes entertainment news; he is the ultimate professional and has a phenomenal relationship with Nancy,” Bessey said in a statement. “And, we’re just as excited to have Louis join The Insider. He is a dynamic broadcaster with a strong point of view, which will be key as he and Thea [Andrews] offer perspective on the hottest trending entertainment news and pop culture topics of the day.”

Since 2003, Aguirre has been a reporter on the WSVN’s Deco Drive. Prior to that, he was a correspondent on Warner Bros.’ entertainment magazine Extra.
