WWMT Creates Local Talk Show For Its CW7

Sinclair Communications-owned CBS affiliate WWMT Kalamazoo, Mich. (DMA 39), is introducing a local talk show on its CW7 subchannel. The Lori Moore Show starring long-time Kalamazoo radio personality Lori Moore.

The Lori Moore Show will start on Monday, Sept. 8, and air every weekday at 4 p.m. This half-hour talk show will feature community leaders and events.

Lori Moore has spent 32 years on the radio in Kalamazoo, most recently as the morning host at WKZO-AM. According to WWMT, Moore was West Michigan’s first female morning drive host.

Moore was educated at Hope College and The University of Notre Dame.

“We are so lucky to find a host of Lori’s ability and history in Kalamazoo to start an afternoon talk show. From Feminine Fancies with Louise Carver in the 1950s, our stations have had a talk tradition. Looking forward to a lot of laughs and good conversation with this program,” said Jim Lutton, WWMT VP-GM.
