Saga Posts TV Rev Gains For 4Q, 2014

The company's four full-power and four low-power stations account for $5.9 million in 4Q and $20.1 for all of last year.

Saga Communications today reported results for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, that included television net operating revenue of $5.9 million, which was up 14.2% from $5.2 million reported for the same quarter last year.

For the full year 2014, television net operating revenue totaled $20.1 million, up 2% from $19.7 in 2013.

Saga owns or operates broadcast properties in 25 markets, including four full-power television stations and five  low-power TV stations; 62 FM and 30 AM stations; and one state radio network.

The company as a whole reported 4Q net operating revenue of $36.4 million, an increase of 7.6% from $33.8 million in 4Q 2013, and a 37.8% rise in net income to $4.4 million ($0.76 per fully diluted share). For the full year 2014, net operating revenue was $134 million, up 3.7% from $129 million in 2013.
