Bybee Named KHBS-KHOG Chief Meteorologist
Hearst Television’s ABC affiliate KHBS-KHOG Ft. Smith-Fayetteville, Ark. (DMA 101), has named Darby Bybee chief meteorologist. Bybee will provide forecasts weeknights on 40/29 News at 5, 6, 9 and 10 p.m.
Bybee has been with 40/29 News since November 2012, where he’s worked as weekend evening meteorologist while also contributing reporting on all 40/29 News platforms.
Bybee’s been storm spotting for over a decade and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist with the American Meteorological Society.
Prior to joining KHBS-KHOG, Bybee forecast at KARK Little Rock, Ark., and KLKN Lincoln, Neb.
Bybee received a degree in meteorology from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.
