First Numbers For Fox’s ‘Boris & Nicole’ Test

The summer talker landed a 1.0 household rating and 3 share, up 25% from its year-ago time periods but down 29% from its lead in, based on ratings in 11 markets.

Fox Television Stations’ summer talk show test Boris & Nicole, with husband-wife actors Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, got off to a pretty good start yesterday with a 1.0 household rating and 3 share, up 25% from its year-ago time periods but down 29% from its lead in, based on preliminary ratings in 11 Nielsen metered markets.

The four-week test is airing on 20 stations, including six Fox TV Stations such as WNYW New York and KTTV Los Angeles. It’s also airing on stations owned by Sinclair and other groups.

Among women 25-54, Boris & Nicole averaged a 0.9/6, up 80% from a year ago but down 25% from its lead in, which in some markets is Debmar-Mercury’s Wendy Williams.

On Fox-owned stations, Boris & Nicole averaged a 0.8 women 25-54 rating, up 60% from last year. That doesn’t include Washington where the show was interrupted by breaking news. In Los Angeles, the show was partly interrupted by a President Obama press conference.

The show posted increases from last July on Fox stations in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta (where it improved its rating by 150% to a 2.5 among women 25-54) and Detroit, where it was up 140% to a 1.2 rating. It posted a decline on Fox’s KSAZ Phoenix.
